@c4 I don't trade coins. Just futures & stocks. I honestly can't find rhyme or reason, or decent charts, for trading crypto nor do I really want to make the effort. I've got a bunch of machines mining away on Minergate. Doesn't cost me anything and I convert all of that into either BTC, ETC or FCT and lend all of it on Poloniex. That's about all I'm willing to do these days.
Finally received a response from these guys after some cajoling. Also, received my withdrawal that had been in the queue for a couple of weeks. In looking at my contract paybacks, they returned about 82% of my total investment so it wasn't a TOTAL waste but did fall short of returning all of my capital.
I regret to inform you all that accumining is closing down its business. After the halvling of bitcoin there is no longer profitable to mine with Antminer S5 if you dont have very cheap or free power.
We have for the last weeks trying to find a better place with cheaper power to be able to continue our operation but have not found such a place.
We will try to find a solution to be able to continue mining and all contracts will be paused and can be continued when/if we find a solution.
All earnings and balance will be paid out.
I invested a little in Accuming almost a year ago with supposedly 2 year contracts. For the past day & a half, there has been no earnings reported to my account. These guys may be in the process of shutting the mining operation down. They were members of the XPY group and chat board and solicited business there. There have been no problems for a year but now a definite potential.
I changed to a new Samsung phone earlier this year. Authy transferred without a problem. It was Google Auth that drove me nuts. I've moved all new authorizations to Authy and have never had an issue with the codes generated.
@Administrator Was happy to see ION increased in value to $0.33 each. At least that's what currently shows in the exchange. If it hits $5.00, I'll be out as that would more than cover my XPY losses. Patience is the name of the game. I actually have no clue what the coin could go to at this point.
I've got a little bit of Scrypt running on Multipool. If I'm mining LTC or MEC, also co-mines DOGE & VIA simultaneously. A little bonus that's not worth much but lets me buy a little bit of BTC to add to my lending account on Poloniex. Just checked, enough MEC mined in the last 12 hours to allow me to do a withdraw after the payout tonight. I've shifted back to my standard LTC mining and will send you the resulting MEC tomorrow morning. I just wanted to clear the line out on my status page.
@Migotka Understand. I quit using Bter when they had all that issue with selling the service to another entity. Got all my coins out and went to Cryptsy & we all know what happened there.
I switched my little miner back to MEC last night. Will let it mine 24 hours & see if it produces enough for me to push it out of Bittrex. We'll know tonight around 9:00 CDT.
I've got a MEC wallet with 1.503 MEC coins that are orphans since I don't have enough to cash out and don't mine the coin anymore. The net balance after trans fee is free to the first person who posts their address or PM's me with the address.
I've got a very small amount of DGB (7.49) left in a wallet. Free to first DGB address posted or PMd.
@apmapm12 That's true, unless there is one of those humongous moves and low interest in obtaining loans to offset position. Then, you could suffer some loss. I've read that this has never happened but it is an outside possibility. With that said, I'm still comfortable with the platform as a method to beat the paltry earnings on most POS coins.
Based on watching all the hoopla and money lost at Poloniex on LSK yesterday, I for one was very happy to NOT be involved with the coin.
@igotBAWS I was stumped on how to get the coins I deposited to be available for Lending. Once I stumbled on that, I was up & running. Got all my coins lent out in about 2 hours, all for a 2 day period. I turned off auto-renew for all of them so I can get a clear read on the repayments and earning which will start coming in tomorrow afternoon, Central Daylight time. It looks like the way Poloniex has the site structured that while losses are possible, they should be minimal if at all. I'll get a better feel for it tomorrow evening when I get my totals together.
Is anyone using a BOT to manage their coin offerings?
Took a couple of hours but all my lend offers have been snapped up. Getting the best rate on DASH at the moment with an average % of around 0.075 for 2 day loans. The only one I've left on auto-renew is the BTC as those rates don't seem to fluctuate as much as I've been watching today. But even .028 for 2 days is nothing to turn down. This site is a far cry from the old BTCLend days.
